About Us

Efforts being taken to reduce gap

GMF is a Charitable Trust wherein it is established for education, relief to the
poor and advancement of any other general public utility not involving the carrying on of any activity for profit.Keeping this mandate in mind efforts have still to be made by each centre to bring this income expenditure gap to zero level. Efforts already made and which must continuewith greater vigour are :

Expanding existing programs Adding new programs, all with a focus on employment. It may be mentioned that in our societal context there is a premium on courses with Government Certification and a great desire for Government employment. These factors provide both a challenge and a push factor

It will be noticed that over the years, at each Centre, the expansion and diversification has been on these lines. Initially programs of different State Government Departments were taken up, then the RS-CIT which is pre requisite qualification for employment in the State Government and also join hands with
State Skill Development Mission.

Further, in the last 4-5 years, programs from Government of India like NIELIT – O level Software course, O – Level Hardware course, Training for Staff Selection Commission Exam. In year 2017-18, Jaipur Centre was accredited to conduct the Domestic Data Entry Operator Course under PMKVY Scheme. This has been a very successful addition both in financial terms and from the point of view of student demand.

In Year 2018 -20, Jaipur Centre was engaged in to National Urban Livelihood Mission to conduct the training programs in IT and Accounts field. The Gita Mittal Foundation has entered into an MoU in April 2013 with Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC), Ministry of Textiles, GOI to start an integrated Skill Development Centre at Churu. With integrated efforts by GMF and ATDC , the District Industries Centre premises provided by the GOR on a notional charge of Rs. 1/- per month in April 2013 to conduct training while GMF was constructing the building. ATDC shifted and commenced its activities in newly constructed Integrated Centre Building (GMCDC, Churu) from 19th October 2014. More than 600 students, mostly women have completed training under SMART program till end of 2016.
